Midea have updated products that have been re-tested and re-rated to a current rating of 32A

Update in relation to product ratings

Midea has advised that the below products have been re-tested and re-rated to a current rating of 32A:

  • MULMI0618B
  • MULMI0619B
  • MDV-V235WN1(AU)-R
  • MDV-V235WN1(AU)-A

 The VEU have advised "As the products do not exceed 32A, and consistent with ESV’s position, accredited persons are not required to undertake retrospective remediation of prior installations of these products provided they have been installed using cabling and Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection (RCBO) rated at 32 amps".
