HEER HVAC (D16) Photo of ONE existing equipment installed at the site.

Question

If a ducted RCAC unit is being replaced and a geotagged photo of the fully wired and connected outdoor unit is captured but the photo of the indoor unit in the roof/ceiling space was missed, does this evidence meet IPART's definition of "existing equipment installed at site"?

IPART Response

Photos of both the indoor and outdoor units are ideally required to demonstrate that existing equipment was installed onsite. If there is insufficient evidence, we strongly recommend not registering the associated certificates.

Given that you only have photos of the outdoor unit, we suggest exploring additional evidence for the indoor units. Examples of this could include but not limited to, a combination of recycling or disposal records for the indoor unit, electrical drawings etc. The ACP is ultimately responsible for obtaining sufficient evidence to enable the auditor to provide positive assurance on the implementation.
